THE PREMISE
Art can and should happen anywhere.* Sometimes, that's a laundry machine.
*Not illegally though.
THE STORY

Humble Beginnings - The Laundry Machine
Freshman year of college was the first time that I started to take art seriously... but where would I start?
Every week, I would practice by drawing a picture on the communal washing machines with a dry erase marker, signed "D.T." Some pieced together my identity, others never knew.

During my time working for the Tulsa Planning Office, I was inspired by a very large whiteboard in my office and my community engagement work to create collaborative art pieces to build camaraderie with my coworkers.

Prosper Portland - Large Solo Art Pieces
When I started working at Prosper Portland, they had even more whiteboards to draw on. Naturally, I had to put them to use.

Apple Thai and Vietnamese - Restaurant Mural
The owners of this friendly restaurant in Portland let me draw a light rendition of the Wat Benchamabophit temple in Bangkok. It is positioned in a way that it's also visible from the mirror on the opposite wall.
Try their boat noodles too - absolutely delicious.
